Soto Mie

Soto mie is one of Indonesian noodle soup. Soto mie can be made of beef, chicken, or kikil. (what do u call kikil in english? hmm actually it's a part of cow's leg hihiii). u eat this with noodle, or combine with rice.
to serve Soto mie, first you put all of the ingredients such as beef or cow's tendon, noodle, risol (fried spring rolls filled with bihun and vegetables), tomato, cabbage, potato, and celery. then you pour it with brouth soup. put fried onion, and emping (pardon me, no idea what's emping in english) on the top. add some ketchup or chili if you like.

Bubur Ayam Margaguna

BUBUR AYAM (Chicken Porridge)
so tempting, isnt it?
this in one of my favorite chicken porridge in Jakarta. its located in Marga guna, Pondok Indah. if you come from radio dalam, then u can find it after gas station and before PIM1, its on your left.
they only sell in the morning everyday, maybe until 9-10 a.m.

now we're gonna talking about its taste. the reasons why i like this porridge are: first, they have complete toppings (such as chicken, fried soybean, fried onion, celery, and cakwe), its lilbit hard to find porridge with cakwe nowadays.. second, its chili taste different. hmm how can i explain this. its thick, made of many herbs and spices, so tasty even when you eat its chili only.
just try it! its so addictive.
